Looking for a workout that actually feels fun? Strength and Stamina Dance Party (SASs) is an affordable adult fitness class with the energy of a dance party and the benefits of a full-body conditioning session. Designed to challenge adults of all experience levels, this class blends accessible dance steps with fundamental fitness principles, including elements of barre and Pilates, to help you tone muscles, improve stamina, enhance coordination, and boost overall energy.

No prior dance experience is required, and modifications are provided so everyone can participate safely while still getting an intense workout!

  • Each session is structured to give you both a workout and a creative outlet:

    • Cardio warmup: Elevate your heart rate with rhythmic, easy-to-follow aerobic exercises.

    • Strength and conditioning: Sculpt and tone muscles through dance-based exercises and functional movements.

    • Dance combinations: Share in the joy of movement with short, expressive routines inspired by jazz, musical theater, and lyrical styles, fun and accessible to dancers of all levels, including beginners. 


    Every class moves at a pace that challenges you without feeling intimidating, offering a full-body workout that’s energizing and fun. Whether you want to improve endurance, add variety to your weekly fitness routine, or simply dance your stress away, SASs provides an inclusive, supportive environment. Get ready to smile and sweat at the same time!

  • This class is a great fit for you if: 

    • You’re an adult 18+ seeking a high-energy, fun workout and a sense of community

    • You’re a beginner looking for a dance fitness class

    • You’re an experienced dancer or athlete looking for a structured cardio, strength, and stamina workout

    • You’ve enjoyed HDC’s Dance for Musical Theater class in the past

    No dance background? No problem! Every movement is accessible, and instructors offer modifications to meet each participant where they are.

  • SASs is open to adults aged 18+ only. 

  • Join us for Strength and Stamina Dance Party (SASs) and discover how fun a full-body workout can be when it feels like a dance party:

    • Fun and motivating: Turn your fitness session into a dance party!

    • Full-body benefits: Build strength, stamina, and flexibility while improving coordination.

    • Creative expression: Short jazz, musical theater, and lyrical inspired dance combos let you explore musicality in a judgment-free space.

    • Supportive environment: Friendly instructors and participants make every class enjoyable.

    • Accessible for all levels: Modifications provided so everyone can move safely and confidently.

    Affordable: SASs is $10, for everybody, always. We believe the joy of movement should be available to everyone in our community.

  • Attire: Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move in–workout clothes and layers recommended. 

    Footwear: For footwear, bare feet or grippy socks will work best. 

    Bring: Bring water with you!
