Adrienne Eaton has served as the treasurer of the Harrisonburg Dance Cooperative since August 2025 and of the Spotswood Elementary School PTO since August 2024. Before moving to Harrisonburg she worked as a consultant for small businesses in Texas, Chicago, and Berlin, advising on online sales and business development for start-ups and independent bookstores. She was previously an independent bookseller in Chicago, specializing in out-of-print and scholarly titles, and was general manager of the longstanding Chicago institution, Myopic Books, from 2000 to 2004. She has a degree in business economics from Humboldt Universität in Berlin, Germany.
